Title: Executive Assistant
Location: Remote (candidates based in Washington, DC preferred)
About the Inclusive Abundance Initiative:
Abundance is a new and growing movement to foster a more vibrant economy with widespread flourishing.
The Inclusive Abundance Initiative is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization building a dynamic community of notable policy experts, think tanks, and advocacy groups to shape America's future through an Abundance-focused agenda. In the coming year, we are excited to make progress on housing, energy, innovation, and state capacity. We also believe in the power of diverse ideas and inclusive dialogue to create policies that not only drive progress but also unify and strengthen our nation.
Public policy has been stuck in a scarcity mindset that says if someone wins, someone else must lose. That we should give in to the depressing polarization dominating our news cycles and accept a status quo where we cease to dream big. The result? Too many Americans are left behind. We can do better. By convening world-class experts, changing the narrative, and amplifying impactful new ideas, we’re reimagining what’s possible.

- Network Management: Maintain the organization’s expansive list of partner contacts, edit the website to display partners, and assist with membership and grant agreements with partners.
- Event Planning: Plan quarterly Happy Hours and small VIP dinners.
- Critical Team Player: Work closely with the senior team to track and move key priorities forward.
- Continued Growth: Seek out new responsibilities as you get more comfortable in the role to continue expanding our team’s capacity.
- Communication: Handle internal and external communication with discretion, professionalism, and a clear understanding of the organization's values and objectives.
- Problem-Solving: Help solve miscellaneous problems as needed — and proactively when possible.
Qualifications:
- Alignment with the organization’s mission and values.
- Positive attitude and enthusiasm about the work.
- Experience executing administrative work.
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- The ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Flexibility and adaptability to manage a range of tasks and to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to present a high volume of information neatly and concisely to the team.
- Strong project management skills, including event planning and execution.
- Coolness under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, AirTable and project management tools.
- Being located in Washington, D.C. is a plus, but not required.
- Proven experience executing nonprofit operations or a track record of supporting senior-level managers is a plus, but not required.
What We Offer:
- Salary range is $70,000 - $90,000/year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
- Opportunities for professional development and growth.
- A collaborative, supportive, and exciting work environment.
- The chance to be part of an organization making a real difference in America.
