Karl Smith

Karl W. Smith is an economist and blogger. Until 2024, Karl was a Bloomberg Opinion columnist and served on Bloomberg's Editorial Board. Previously, he was vice president for federal policy at the Tax Foundation and assistant professor of economics at the University of North Carolina.
