Layla Zaidane

Layla Zaidane is the President & CEO of Future Caucus (formerly Millennial Action Project), the largest cross-partisan organization of young lawmakers in the U.S. Future Caucus works with over 1,800 Gen Z and Millennial elected leaders in Congress and state legislatures to bridge divides, collaborate on future-oriented policy, and scale a healthy culture of democracy. Layla previously served as Managing Director at Generation Progress, leading integrated communications, policy, and advocacy efforts to engage young people in the U.S. and abroad. She launched the It's On Us campaign in partnership with the White House in 2014.

A nationally recognized expert on youth engagement, Layla has been featured in outlets including Forbes, Teen Vogue, People Magazine, and The New York Times. She graduated from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service and holds a BSFS in international politics. Layla is a Fellow of the Civil Society Fellowship and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
